Product features

  1. Enclosure and body features:
    • Enclosure for surface or recessed mounting.
    • Enclosure dimensions: 20, 25 and 30 m hose models: 1000 × 700 × 260 mm.
    • Tank dimensions: 250 × 220 × 600 mm.
    • Contact us for custom dimensions.
    • 1.5 mm galvanized sheet steel.
    • Electrostatic powder coating in red, white or black.
  2. Tempered-glass, plexiglass or sheet-steel door.
  3. Stainless-steel hinge and recessed stainless-steel lock that opens with three fingers.
  4. Pattern-pressed reel made from 1.2 mm galvanized sheet steel, with a double-sided reel mounting bracket.
  5. The reel support arm is made from 6 mm flat bar and is 30 cm long.
  6. 80 mm diameter spot-welded knockout openings at eight points on the cabinet for pipework connections.
  7. Mounting flange made entirely from aluminium, with a brass rotating reel hub and central water passage. Water transfer continues as the reel turns.
  8. TSE 12259-certified 2" (50 mm) fire valve and TSE 12258-certified 2"–1" die-cast aluminium hose-tail coupling.
  9. TSE EN 694-certified 20, 25 or 30 m hose.
  10. Foam proportioning and discharge equipment: stainless-steel 100 L/min foam proportioner and stainless-steel 1" foam branchpipe.
  11. 100 cm connection hose and 100 cm anti-kink throat hose.
  12. The hose reel is in the upper section, with the foam-concentrate tank below. Tank dimensions: 250 × 220 × 600 mm.
  13. 30, 40 or 50 L foam tank options. Capacity is selected according to facility size and fire risk.
  14. AFFF, AFFF-AR, synthetic or fluorine-free (NFF / F3) foam concentrate options. AFFF, AFFF-AR and synthetic foams use a 3–6% proportioning range. For NFF / F3, proportioning and hardware compatibility follow the selected product data sheet.
  15. TSE EN 671-1-certified fire hose cabinet, with adhesive “YANGIN” and “TSE EN 671-1” labels on the door.
  16. Screen-printed operating instructions are included inside the cabinet. The cabinet is tested to TSE standards before packaging and dispatch.

Frequently asked questions

How do we choose a 30, 40 or 50 L tank?

Assess the 30, 40 or 50 L tank selection alongside the protected area, proportioning ratio, flow and required application duration. State the available option and final supplied capacity in the quotation.

Can 3% and 6% proportioning be used interchangeably?

The exact ratio depends on the selected concentrate and proportioner. The 3–6% catalogue range does not mean every concentrate can be used at every ratio.

How is the fluorine-free NFF / F3 foam option assessed?

Select the concentrate after checking fuel, viscosity, proportioner, hose and branchpipe compatibility. NFF / F3 proportioning follows the selected product data sheet and is assessed with the cabinet’s proportioning and discharge equipment.

Can foam be used wherever electrical equipment is present?

Do not assume general electrical safety for a foam-water mixture. Assess energisation, equipment and the selected agent’s application limits in the risk assessment.

Design and installation guide

Foam-system fire hose cabinet: tank, proportioning and branchpipe compatibility

The foam cabinet combines the hose reel, concentrate tank and proportioning equipment in one enclosure. Cabinet dimensions: 20, 25 and 30 m hose models: 1000 × 700 × 260 mm; tank dimensions: 250 × 220 × 600 mm. Select the foam and tank from the liquid hazard, protected area and response plan together with the water supply.

Product selection and installation planning

Selection brings the product connection and layout requirements together with the needs of the site.

  1. Fuel and concentrate

Select AFFF, AFFF-AR, synthetic or fluorine-free (NFF / F3) concentrate against the protected fuel and product data sheet. Match the exact ratio within the 3–6% range for AFFF, AFFF-AR and synthetic options to the product and proportioner; NFF / F3 proportioning and hardware compatibility follow the selected concentrate data sheet.

  2. Tank and operating duration

Assess the 30, 40 or 50 L tank options alongside flow, proportioning ratio and required application duration.

  3. Hose and pressure

The minimum water-line pressure is 4 bar. Assess the 20, 25 or 30 m hose, 2" (50 mm) fire valve and water supply together in the site design.

  4. Foam proportioner and branchpipe

Check the match between the stainless-steel 100 L/min proportioner and stainless-steel 1" foam branchpipe. Follow the selected equipment instructions for cleaning and concentrate checks after use.

02

Application planning for different spaces

These examples describe conditions to assess during the site survey. The fire protection design determines the final layout and equipment selection.

Fuel and flammable-liquid areas

Site requirement
Foam compatibility with the fuel and access to the application area.
Planning approach
Select the concentrate, tank and branchpipe together and match the location to the response plan.

Production using solvents

Site requirement
Different chemical hazards, including water-miscible liquids.
Planning approach
Assess a concentrate verified for the fuel and a compatible proportioning arrangement.
